Tori Kay: Sounds of Empowerment

Tori Kay is an 19 year old aspiring artist who was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She is a triple threat with her singing, acting and dancing abilities. Her music consists of blends of urban and pop genres. Tori’s musical journey began at the age of 12 when she had the amazing opportunity to perform over 100 shows and tour with Kidz Bop. Her talent has gained much prominence in performing acts with venues like The House of Blues and The Roxy. Tori is well known on her YouTube channel for singing cover songs for very well known artists such as Ella Mai, Miley Cyrus, and Britney Spears.
As a result, her singing career took off with her first 2014 single, “Kings” then followed by another hit “Waste My Time” and “Ruin My Life” in 2019. Her songs are much more than just a catchy tune with a bop beat, they send a message to her viewers about her personal life and what she wants her fans to hear. Her humanitarian work has led her to touring with SOS foundation (Stand up Own up Speak up) around the US as an advocate for youth programs. She is now the face for Disney International English program where she teaches young children how to speak English. Her singing is only one part of her unique talents as her acting career has always been a part of her journey. She has landed roles for commercials, TV, and movies such as “Awesomeness TV”, “OMG!, and “Cheerleaders.” Tori has continued acting as it is one of the entertainment lifestyles she enjoys to be a part of.
Throughout her career, she signed a deal with Sony and Ablaze Entertainment. Her talent manager has worked with top TV productions such as TLC, Bravo, VH1, and Showtime. Tori’s music sends powerful messages to her fans with what she hopes they gain empowerment from. Her sounds of pop resonate with a distinctive tone of a club vibe and electropop. She expresses her own individuality through her voice and style all the while hoping that her future is bright with amazing talents.
Courtney Scott is a senior at Montclair State University to gain her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. She recently has been accepted into the Teacher Education Program for certification. She always wanted to pursue writing and thought that journalism would be the best fit. In her younger years, she used to write little stories, poems, or essays about any imagination that came to her mind. She thought maybe one day she could write for TV shows, news broadcasting, or even movies! She lives in Springfield, NJ with her mother and father.
